arrivals and departures logistics advice, planning, implementation and management for Athens Olympic Games 2004
Athens International Airport required assistance in preparing its operations to handle the expected high increase in passenger and baggage demand created by Olympic Games traffic, culminating with 43,000 passengers and 60,000 bags on the peak departure day.
An effective off-airport processing concept, designed to transfer departing members of the Olympic Family and their baggage from the Olympic village to the airport, was a key element for smooth peak day operations.
