o&i consulting is currently recruiting for operations consultants.

We are searching for individuals who enjoy putting their skills to practical use, delivering results and working as one of the team.

If you are qualified in Operational Research, Industrial / Production Engineering or another discipline requiring numeracy and analytical skills, and have a minimum of 2-3 years work experience, get in touch and let us know how you can contribute to the success of our small but growing company. Your professional experience does not necessarily have to be from o&i consulting’s core sectors.

Capabilities of interest:

Mathematical modelling – an expert user in Excel VBA programming with an enthusiasm to extend o&i’s products

Ability to identify and carry out the most appropriate type of statistical analysis needed for various decision making contexts

Spreadsheet user interface design

Logical problem solving – an ability to structure an approach to a difficult problem

Logistics

Workflow planning and scheduling

Just in time and lean/six sigma operations improvement methodologies

Long term planning, capacity measurement and management

Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and experience with the use of graphical tools to help communicate project outputs

Highly proficient in MS Office programmes, in particular Word, PowerPoint & Excel

Experience of other software packages such as Visio, Sketch up and simulation software would be an advantage
