- Passenger security screening process design, Qantas Airways
Provided Qantas with an improved, standard passenger security screening design, that was transferable between airport sites and integrated current and future processing and technology requirements.
- Baggage handling process implementation, British Airways
In the development of Terminal 5, Heathrow Airport, David led the design and implementation of baggage handling processes. He worked in collaboration with operations and trade union team members.
- Process improvement and cost reduction, DHL
Bespoke solutions for various European hub facilities, including matching resourcing with workload, facility layout and job preparation.
- Improving punctuality performance, Britannia Airways
Reengineered turnround processes, addressed procedures and revised job descriptions to achieve an impressive improvement to turnround performance.
- Operations manager and consulting manager, UPS
David spent over six years in senior positions at UPS. As operations manager he was responsible for planning and managing the daily operations of a major courier operation and data processing centre. In an internal consulting role, he managed a team responsible for cost reduction and quality improvement across UK sites.
