CLAIRE MORGAN EXPERIENCE
Selected Personal Experience:
- Passenger screening process reengineering, Dublin International Airport
Proposed and demonstrated strategies to optimise the existing passenger security screening process at Dublin Airport.
Prior to the implementation of enhanced EU regulations, Claire assessed the effects of the new measures on Dublin Airport’s operation by simulating and measuring the requirements. The results enabled the airport company to continue to provide a high level of customer service during the period of change.
- Check-in process improvement, Budapest Airport
Led a trial of an improved check-in process with the airport’s main airline customer, MALEV. Reduced queue lengths, waiting times and check-in concourse congestion, and increased utilisation of the self-service product.
- Centralisation of passenger security areas, Copenhagen International Airport
Provided guidance in the centralization of two terminal passenger security screening areas including determining future capacity requirements, advising architectural and area layouts, designing passenger flow and queue management strategies.
- Baggage reclaim capacity improvement, Sydney International Airport
Demonstrated a baggage reclaim allocation system in live operation. The system maximises use of available carousel time during busy periods.
- Passenger screening process optimisation, BAA
Led various passenger security screening process optimisation assignments at Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. Played a key role in identifying improvement opportunities, designing solutions and leading implementation trials. Passenger flow rate improvements of up to 30% were achieved at BAA terminals.
